Veteran student wins Baker Business Bowl
Austin Hronek, the winner of the 10th annual Baker Business Bowl, took home a check for $10,000 to launch his business, Tsuboi Agriculture.
A locally branded company, Tsuboi Agriculture will cultivate Australian Red Claw Crayfish in large aquaculture conditions. The goal is to provide high-end seafood restaurants and consumers with a continuous supply of cost-efficient, sustainable and better tasting lobster-like products. As a one-person team, Hronek, a veteran student majoring in chemistry, wrote the business plan that carried him through all three rounds of the annual business competition.

The second-place winner of the Baker Business Bowl, and recipient of a $5,000 check, was team Baffling Solutions. Cadets Gabriel Wentworth, Elis Buttry, Calvin Brodersen and Charles Geiger teamed up to make moving trailers safe and convenient with a trailer-moving robot named Argo.
