The Citadel celebrates the retirement of dedicated faculty and staff
The Citadel celebrated the retirement of Hank Fuller, director of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, on July 1 after 33 years of dedicated service.
Fuller served as the president of the South Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators in 2009-2010 and was a member of the SCASFAA Executive Board for three years. In addition to serving as director of Financial Aid, he was also an adjunct faculty member who taught several courses, including Leaders 101. “His tireless and selfless service to students over his career enabled many to graduate and ‘wear the ring’ when financial challenges endangered their dreams,” said Josh Haugh, interim director of the Office of Financial Aid.
Also retiring this year were Professor of Economics Bill Trumbell and Professor of Education George Williams, as well as Cyril Robinson, John Allegood, Pamela Evans-White and Denise Ugast.
