On March 22, Ashley Bukay, Ph.D., received the Excellence in Nursing Education Award at the University of South Carolina College of Nursing Annual Leadership Summit.

The Department of Psychology posthumously inducted Aline Mahan, Ph.D. into the Department of Psychology Hall of Fame on Feb. 28, as part of ongoing celebrations at the college honoring 50 years of female faculty and 25 years of female cadet graduates.

The Center for Mathematical Literacy, an initiative sponsored by the Zucker School of Education and the STEM Center for Excellence, was a semi-finalist for the Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award for high impact educational programs in the state of South Carolina.

On Jan. 30, senior cadets, veterans, active duty, and evening students came together to join the esteemed Order of the Engineer.
