High school students learn applied physics on campus
The Department of Physics hosted a summer applied physics experience for high school students in June. During the event, high school students worked with physics faculty and a cadet assistant on several hands-on activities, including the physics of the toy-string shooter.

Cyber summer
The Department of Cyber and Computer Sciences and The Citadel Department of Defense Cyber Institute hosted several camps over the summer.
A cosmic experience
They built a topographic planet from pieces of foam and designed the architecture for their planet’s space station. They learned block coding and how to navigate the universe through a small spherical robot called a Sphero.
Bridge program building success
As matriculation nears, 50 members of the Class of 2027 will be prepared for life in the Corps of Cadets.
