Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience Concentration
The Psychology Major with Neuroscience Concentration takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the structure and function of the brain and nervous system. This rigorous and academically challenging concentration focuses on many aspects of human experience from both a molecular and neural basis. Students explore topics such as the biological underpinnings of memory, learning, attention and concentration, executive functioning, mood and abnormal behaviors. This concentration will provide a clear academic path to students who wish to pursue advanced degrees in neuroscience, psychology and health care professions (e.g., medical school, physician’s assistant programs, etc.).
