Dr. Crystal A. Hank
Professor of Practice
Dr. Hank is a Professor of Practice and primarily teaches courses within the Masters in Clinical-Counseling program. She received her Bachelors in psychology, with a concentration in human development from Roanoke College in Salem, VA, in 2006. She then received her Masters in clinical-counseling psychology (2013), and Psy.D. in counseling psychology from Radford University (2017). She has worked with clients in a wide range of settings, including inpatient treatment, a bariatric and medical weight loss program in which clients were pursuing bariatric surgery, multiple college counseling centers, and a community health center. She also has experience in clinical supervision. While Dr. Hank is passionate about the practice of therapy, she also very much enjoys teaching and training future therapists, as well as being a mentor to those interested in the field. She strives to incorporate her experiences in the field as a part of her teachings.
