Mission Statement
To provide cadets/students with a centralized location and means to access all non-academic aspects of The Citadel in a way designed to put their interests first. The OneCard Program unifies bookstore, dining, vending, athletics and concession accounts all on The Citadel Identification Card.
Operational Plan
The OneCard makes campus life easier, creating an alternative to carrying cash, change, or other credit cards. Users can link their OneCard to a number of vital campus accounts, and can then use it to access meals, purchase snacks on campus, buy books at the bookstore, or pick up a Pepsi at a vending machine.
Cadets/Students can add value to a card online, at the Treasurer’s Office or at the OneCard Office. Parents and spouses can add value to a family member’s card online from anywhere. There are plans to integrate with Finance so Faculty/Staff can use payroll deduction to add value to cards. Of course, online value adding will also be available to Faculty/Staff.
