Color Guard is a team of four or five individuals that represent the colors of the National and State flags. We not only perform in Basketball Games but our biggest competition, Tulane. The Color Guard is beginner-friendly but makes everyone better regardless of talent level. Beyond its formal duties, Color Guard also plays a crucial role in fostering discipline, teamwork, and patriotism among its members.
The importance of color guard dates back to tradition as it represents and honors those serving in a professional and patriotic manner. The team’s mission reflects a commitment to precision and excellence. As Sophomore Matt Varney stated, “The people are fun, the experience is unlike any other. We have fun in Louisiana and beat other Schools!”
