The Center for Cyber, Intelligence, and Security Studies (CCISS) serves the students and faculty of The Citadel and the citizens of South Carolina by:
- Educating and preparing students in the fields of cybersecurity, intelligence studies, and national security;
- Developing relevant programs of research by identifying funding sources, encouraging and assisting Citadel faculty and others in carrying out relevant research, and disseminating findings to consumers through traditional and innovative channels;
- Conducting outreach efforts through consortium building with Citadel faculty and other institutions and organizations sharing an interest in cybersecurity, intelligence studies, and national security.
2018 Citadel Intelligence & Cybersecurity Conference Highlights
From September 25-26, over three hundred participants took part in the 2018 Citadel Intelligence & Cybersecurity Conference. The conference was held at the Holliday Alumni Center so students, faculty, and staff could benefit from the 18 panels that brought together some of the country’s most acknowledged experts from academe, the US intelligence community (IC), and private industry.
