Pay Through My Citadel Portal
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Beginning Monday, April 8th, 2024, if you choose to make a payment for tuition and fees with a debit or credit card, you will be assessed a service fee. There will be a 2.85% service fee for domestic debit or credit card payments and a 4.25% service fee for international debit or credit card payments. The minimum service fee for any payment made via debit or credit card will be $3.00. This fee is assessed by Transact Campus, Inc. Service fees are included in your transaction and are paid directly to Transact Campus, Inc. Please note that this service fee only applies to tuition and fee payments made via debit or credit card. Payments can be made using eCheck (ACH), check, and/or cash with no additional service fees.
Students may pay their account through My Citadel Portal using an electronic check or remitting a credit card payment.
Credit Card Payments – The Citadel currently accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. NOTE: Your Debit Card information is similar to how a credit card payment is processed. Credit Card Payments can be made online and in person in the office during our normal office hours. We no longer accept credit card payments over the phone.
E-Checks or ACH payments can also be used to remit an online payment. Some special types of checking accounts may have restrictions on using electronic payments, for example, lines of credit and brokerage accounts. If you have questions about your checking account, please contact your financial institution. PLEASE NOTE: You will need your routing number and account number to remit your electronic check.
E-Check Payment Instructions on My Citadel Portal
- Take out a blank check so you have the required information in front of you.
- Go to My.Citadel.Edu and log in with your username and password.
- Select the Student Business Services card.
- Select Make Payment and Review Billing Information.
- You will be redirected to The Citadel secure payment site by selecting I Agree.
- You will see a graphic like the one to the right to help you identify the needed information. Remember: The Routing Number is the first number which appears on the check. The Account Number, which appears in the middle, may be longer or shorter than the one i the example – enter your entire account number.
- Enter the requested information and click “Continue.” Follow the on-screen instructions.
